Survey Spot is no scam. It is a nice way, to make a little spare cash online. The site has three rewards systems in place: outright paid surveys, a quarterly sweepstakes and an instant win game.

Paid Surveys

Occasionally Survey Spot offers outright paid surveys to members. I have been paid between $2 – $10, for the surveys, I have personally qualified for. The minimum payment threshold is set at $5, and as you can see is paid via paper check.

Instant Win

Each and every time you take a survey, even if you don’t qualify to take the entire survey, will earn you a shot at the instant win game. You will be offered the game, in your choice of a scratch ticket or slots format. Multiple prizes ranging from $50 – $250 can be won in the instant game. Varying numbers of extra entries into the quarterly sweepstakes are given as consolation prizes (the number seems to be directly related to how extensive the survey you filled out was).

Quarterly Sweepstakes

Survey Spot has a quarterly sweepstakes drawing for $25,000. The winner is selected from entries earned through completing surveys and instant win entries.

In addition to the above rewards, I have also gotten a paid product trial, which was pretty cool.

Membership is open to anyone over 18 years of age. Kids 13 and up may also join, with parental permission.
