One of the better “paid to search” programs on the web is called Scour. It is one of the few that you will get guaranteed rewards from, most are on a “win” system. Scour refers to itself as a “social search engine”.

 On Scour you earn points not only for searching the web, but for rating or commenting on individual search results, as well. 1 point is given for each of these activities, with a maximum of 3 points per search, for up to 100 searches a day. Points are also earned through a referral program. Members earn a bonus equaling 25% of all their referrals earnings. Points can then be redeemed for Visa Gift Cards.

Cash outs can be done in these increments: (U.S., Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and U.K.)

6500 pts = $25 Visa Gift Card

12500 pts = $50 Visa Gift Card

25000 pts = $100 Visa Gift Card

Upon sign-up members are given 50 points to start them out. Give a thumbs up to all your friends blogs, in the search results, to make points, and happy friends. The 25% referral bonus makes this a good addition to blogs and social pages. Active referrals could make points add up rather quickly. Although, with few or no referrals, cashing out will take awhile, if you are willing to top out points each day a cash-out could be done in 22 days, without any referral bonus at all.  Search results from Scour are generated through a combination of Google, MSN and Yahoo search results, and are of decent quality, so it still may be worthwhile to you.
