I have been occupied with several new projects, over the past few months and have failed to update here. My seasonal site, and the launch of my new blog Blommi.com ate up a good portion of the time, but the holidays are now over, and the new blog is pretty well set up now.

A few new reviews are coming and updates of some old ones, as well. I’ve been expanding into a new niche, and my use of twitter has become much more prolific. During my hiatus from How to Make Money on the Internet, I have still been diligently expanding my knowledge base, through these other projects and will be sharing some of the information here.

Some Recent Lockerz News

Lockerz has announced the next prize release will be on Tuesday, Sept. 15th 2009 at 5 pm EST. All prices from the most recent release will remain the same for this release and into the Oct. full site launch.

Today (Sept. 2nd), on Lockerz Facebook page members were asked what they thought of “Ratchet and Clank” PSP bundles. So, odds are good they will be included in the next prize release. The Lockerz team has been very good about keeping members up to date, on progress and site problems during this pre-launch phase, and have even doubled the PTZ given for the daily question a couple times.

I am looking forward to the next prize release, I should be getting something nice either on the 15th, or for the release after it. I am hoping they bring back the Wii, or add a nice ultra zoom camera this time around. They have previously, offered Flip HD video cameras in my points range, as well.

This site pays members to comment on and rate the products, services and people reviewed there. Payments are made via Paypal with a $20 minimum payout. Earnings are tallied with a point system a point is currently worth 1 cent, so calculations are not necessary.

In order to do ratings or grade a product, you must have at least one comment approved by the site’s moderators.

Comments for this site should be like a mini review. They are to be a minimum of 50 words, should be specific to what is reviewed, and reflect some familiarity with it. Copying from other online sources is not allowed, and the comment should not contain excessive spelling or grammar mistakes. Comments are not to be used as self promotion, which would be unnecessary anyway, since the site permits you to add promotional links on your signature. They are just not allowed within the comment itself.

Comments are generally worth 50 points, but the first two commenters receive a bonus. The first comment on any review is worth triple points (150), and the second is worth double (100).

All the reviews are written by the site’s in house writers, but if you suggest something and it is accepted for review, You will be credited 75 points.

IM Report card will match 100% of what your referrals earn. They provide a referral link, automatic links for social pages like Face book and banners for blogs and websites.

Comments don’t take more than a few minutes, and with the generous referral matching, points add up pretty quickly.

You can get some sweet prizes on this rewards site. The generous redemption values may not last past, the site’s beta phase, so I would get in now. It comes up on you quick, and can be worth a good number of points to start you out. I didn’t know it was coming and got 25 points from it. You get 2 pts for signing in each day, and 2 for anwering an opinion question. Doing these only takes about a minute, at most. Members with VIP status get double points.

Site has not tried to sell me anything.   If you refer 20 people you get VIP status, which has a added benefits, and they send you a T shirt.

With the new oodles reward program on GSN.com (Game Show Network), you can earn loyalty rewards like Amazon gift cards and other great prizes.

Oodles are a collectable currency which is won by answering trivia, and they add up pretty quickly. New trivia questions are available daily. The questions are multiple choice, with four answer options.

There are 3 different types of trivia on the GSN site:

     1. Play Along with Game Shows      Those questions are only available 12-6 EST weekdays & 8-11 EST on Saturday nights, and are usually worth around 50 points each.

      2. The Question of the Day    A single question, meant to be challenging. This one nets nice points, around 50.

     3. “Oodles Challenge” questions    These are my favorite way to earn. If you go under the “ways to win” in the Oodles tab on the GSN site, there is a list of 39 games (10 points each). When you click on the link to each game, there is an Oodles challenge bar at the top of the page. Click it, for a trivia question.

I have only been using the GSN site for a short while ( program launched June 4, 2009), but at my current earnings rate, I should be ready to cash-in for an Amazon gift card very soon. Oodles add up quickly each day,and the rewards redemptions are very reasonable.
