Etsy.com is a pleasant way for creative people to make some money. This user friendly online market place accepts listings for handmade goods, crafting supplies and vintage items. As you would expect of a site frequented by artsy folks, the site design is quite attractive. Fees are very
reasonable and seller support is fantastic. The initial listing fee is 20 cents per item, and a 3.5 % fee is assessed on items which sell. The Etsy staff make a concerted effort, to guide sellers toward successful marketing and attractive presentation of their goods. The online community here is friendly and helpful. This is a kinder, gentler and classier place to present your goods and creations, and shoppers are far more targeted toward quality goods, than on Ebay. All in all, although there is a lot of competition for sales on Etsy, I feel the reasonable fees and ease of shop set up, make it worth trying, if you are creative and want to earn money from home.

Another similar site is Da Wanda which is more focused on the European market. I think it is German based, but there are many users in all parts of the world.
